| Abstract | Exploit the JavaServer Faces (JSF) specification to build device-independent applications with rich-client interfaces, wellseparated design and coding concerns, and strong code maintainability. This article walks you through the implementation of a JSF front-end application using the IBM Rational Application Developer tooling. Learn techniques to construct a basic JSF Web page and then enhance it with IBM-specific JSF implementation features for in-place editing and deletion. Plus, see how all of the key components fit together in a scalable framework that can serve as the foundation for very large, enterprise-scale applications. The source code and sample database for the application are available for download from The Sphere Web site. | |
