| Abstract | This article provides an overview of the choices available for Domino/JSP development, guidance on selecting the right environment for your needs, and step-by-step instructions for building three different development environments for enterprise-scale Domino/ J2EE applications: a basic, no frills environment (using the free Tomcat server and your text editor of choice); a high-end commercial software environment (WebSphere); and a middle-of-the-road graphical open-source development environment (Forte for Java with integrated Tomcat server). It also includes installation and customization instructions for a demonstration suite that you can use to validate your new system.
